Man and skull at Prague Castle

A sculpture of a man and a skull at Prague Castle

If you want to see skulls, you don’t need to go to Kutna Hora to church of bones, Prague also has skulls and this sculpture proves that skulls are used as a frequent element of decoration just about everywhere. Next to Daliborka Tower on the hill where Prague Castles near Golden Lane is located you will find a skull on top of a crouching and begging man. This statue is known as Parable with a Skull and was designed by Jaroslav Rona in 1993, made of bronze and represents one of Kafka’s characters.
