St. Cajetan statue

St. Cajetan statue was sculpted in 1709by Ferdinand Brokoff, and sponsored by the convent of Theatins in Prague. He was a Catholic saint, Italian founder of the order of the Clerics Regular, better known as the Theatines. However don’t confuse with his contemporary, Thomas Cardinal Cajetan. The saint is portrayed standing in front of a column of cherubs and holding a sacred heart. Behind the statue, you can see a triangle symbolizes the Holy Trinity. In 1671 Cajetan was declared Saint and considered as the patron saint of the unemployed and of job seekers. Feast of St. Cajetan is celebrated on August 7 by Catholic Church.
