Statues of Saints John of Matha, Felix of Valois, and Ivan - Trinitarian Founders statue

The most spacious and expensive sculpture on the Charles bridge is sculpture, of the founders of the Trinitarian Order - Saints John of Matha, Felix of Valois, and Ivan, who rescued Christians by buying back and redeeming of them in captivity under Turks. In the huge rock is a prison and above are placed a three terrified men, in front of prison there’s a dog and a Turk with a cat-o’-nine-tails guarding the imprisoned Christians. St. John is standing on the summit of the rock with money for their freedom, on the left St. Ivan sits, and St. Felix helps the prisoners to loosen of the bonds and base of statue depicts a cave in which three chained Christians are praying to the Lord for salvation.. The sculpture in Prague was intended to honor the o founders of the Trinitarians.
